Nanodrop One (Thermofisher Scientific) is a spectrophotometer for UV-Vis measurements of microvolume (droplet) samples. It is used to determine the concentration and purity of nucleic acids (dsDNA, ssDNA, RNA) and proteins.
It allows the measurement of highly concentrated samples without the need for dilution.
The unique sample contamination detection function determines the type of contamination and provides a correction for the sample concentration.
