About us

The Central Scientific Laboratory (CoreLab) is a core facility laboratory, which is a modern model for the effective use of research infrastructure based on the principles of universal access, optimization of investment expenditure, service, while maintaining the highest standards of research by highly qualified researchers.

CoreLab enables the implementation of scientific and research projects in the field of molecular biology, genomics and proteomics to all units of the Medical University and external units. We carry out standard research experiments and research according to individual projects and ideas, both as part of service activity and participation in research and development projects. CoreLab also provides assistance in the field of scientific advice, including planning experiments and preparing grant applications.

The equipment of the Central Scientific Laboratory is constantly modernized and supplemented with additional research equipment in accordance with the needs of the University’s scientific units.

The Laboratory’s plans take into account the continuous increase of research potential and the expansion of the scope of offered research. Recently, our unit has enriched with the system for quantitative PCR analysis using the Droplet Digital PCR emulsion technique (ddPCR; BioRad) and the CytoFLEX flow cytometer (Becton Dickinson).

We invite you to cooperation!
