The Central Scientific Laboratory offers analyzes using the latest generation flow cytometer CytoFLEX.
Offered applications using flow cytometry: immunophenotyping (cells surface antigen detection, intracellular staining), cell cycle analysis and cell viability, cell proliferation assays, reactive oxygen species induction, mitochondrial membrane potential, CBA (cytometric beads array) assay and others.
The CytoFlex flow cytometer (Beckman Coulter) enables the identification and analysis of microparticles and proteins, including research on the search for new drugs and biomarkers of certain disease entities, in a microparticle type material, exosomes or other vesicles released from cells and tissues.
It allows the analysis of objects with sizes in the range from 100 nm to 50 μm and a resolution of not less than 20 nm.
The CytoFlex instrument is equipped with three lasers (purple 405 nm, blue 488 nm and red 638 nm) and 15 detectors enabling the simultaneous measurement of two morphological parameters and 13 fluorescence.
Essential features of the apparatus are the acquisition speed (30,000 counts/second) and the ability to directly measure the concentration of the examined objects (without the use of reference beads).
The CytoFlex flow cytometer has a fluidly adjustable sample flow rate in the range of 10 μ/min to 240 μl/min.
